State Line adds Myers and Tonry
State Line Films is thrilled to announce that industry veteran Sheryl Myers is coming on board as Exec. Producer and Director/Cameraman Roger Tonry has signed on to direct promos and branded content work. Myers, who has spent the past 17 years as Exec. Producer at Atlanta based Comotion Films (where Owen also directs ad agency based spots), brings a tremendous amount of skill and experience to State Line. Said Owen, "I'm really excited to team up with Sheryl. She's a lot fun to work with and knows her stuff. In a word, she's a pro. We've worked together for a long time on commercials and having her support on the production side will be a tremendous asset to State Line."
Equally noteworthy is the addition of Tonry to the State Line roster. "Roger is a good friend and an amazingly talented guy. We share a lot of similar sensibilities in terms of directing. He's great with actors and dialogue, his work is always strong visually and feels fresh. But beyond that, he's an awesome collaborator. I think that our network clients will really enjoy teaming up with him." The Director/DP spent several years at Crossroad Films before striking out on his own a few years ago to start up 3D Filmland. "A great thing about Roger is that he's well versed in effects work and he's leading the charge in 3D commercial shooting. We're lucky to have his expertise at State Line," adds Owen. |
